The purpose of this website is to provide a repository of information related to veterinary epidemiology in addition to the electronic mailing list EpiVet-L. 

It was created at the suggestion of The International Society for Veterinary Epidemiology and Economics (ISVEE) during its international conference in Nairobi, Kenya in 1994.

This website is maintained by Dirk Pfeiffer from the Epidemiology Division at the Royal Veterinary College, University of London, United Kingdom. The website was originally created at the EpiCentre, Massey University, New Zealand.
